Hi! Can't help you on your Jeremiah CRONK at the moment, but did any of your NY CRONK ancestors have a sister or daughter named Clarissa CRONK?? She is my ggg-grandmother. She was born about 1810 in NY or Vermont (census records give one or the other). I know nothing about her family or parents (she's a classic dead-end). I'll sort through my CRONK stuff again for any hints on your Jeremiah in NY.
