Did you find out any information about her and about the family line in general? The reason I ask is that my husband's family has a Laura Cronk in their background. She married Edwin (Edward) Allen Calder 24 Dec 1881 in Grand Manan Island and ended up living in Durham, Androscoggin, Maine by 1910. My problem is from this point on. From the 1881 Canadian census data that I have accessed, there were two Laura Cronks living on Grand Manan in 1881, both born circa 1860, and I don't know which one is the one in my husband's line: the daughter of Frederick Cronk and Abigail/Emma Moses or the daughter of Samuel Cronk and Mary Holmes. If you have any information that might help me clear this up, I'd appreciate it. Also, if the Laura Cronk that I'm looking for IS the daughter of Frederick and Abigail/Emma, could you please let me know who Frederick's parents were?
