He lived in North Carolina in 1810 when he moved his slaves into Henry Co, Va to marry Elizabeth Letcher Scales that year. Was at Battle of San Jacinto. He was later a post master in Milam Co, TX. Richard b. 1814 mar 1835 in Williamson Co, TN Nancy L Hardeman Joseph Henry b. 1816 mar 1st 10 Nov 1836 in Williamson Co, TN to Susan E. Pratt. He married 2nd 13 May 1847 in Williamson Co, TN to Ascenatta M Corzine Elizabeth Letcher Scales Crunk died between 1816 and 1821 John W Crunk married 2nd 28 June 1821 in Williamson County, TN to Jerusha Corzine, daughter of Abel and (?) Corzine. Children of John W and Jerusha Corzine Crunk: Isabella Shelby b. 1822 Williamson Co, Tn married 1848 in Harrison Co, TX to Sampson McCown (THESE ARE MY ANCESTORS). About 1855 they moved to Hunt Co, TX. Herschell b. Williamson Co mar 1 Martha A Smith 1852 in Harrison Co, TX. He mar 2nd Mary Jane Floyd William b. Williamson Co, TN mar 1855 in Harrison Co, TX Emily P Smith Novaline b. Williamson Co, TN mar 1852 Harrison Co, TX to William R Poague Elizabeth R married Harrison Co, TX 1850 to Henry Merriwether Hood Jr I am a member of the Sons of the Republic of Texas on John W and Jerusha Corzine Crunk and Sampson and Isabella Shelby Crunk McCown, plus Sampson's mother, Margaret Telford McCown. All were in Texas in the early 1840's.
