I lean toward her mother being Christine Millious of Lenox, Madison, NY. There was also a William and Margret Millious of Kinderhook, Columbia, NY who purchased land in Madison in 1812 or 1817. They later sold most of the land to Merrit Carpenter, the husband of Cornelia Melius. In 1830s they sold the rest of the lot to the next husband of Cornelia, Simon/Simeon Harp. Harp also owned land in Oswego and possibly Onondaga. My Millis/Millious line has been one hard nut to crack. Nothing seems to definitely connect people who share this name.
