Hi Derek; Yes, I am still interested in the Crompton family history. I have hit a brick wall on our Crompton family; so have not done too much research this year. I have spent a lot of money trying to get a birth certificate for John Crompton b.d. April 5, 1870 in Edgeworth Near Bolton, Lancashire, England - but have not had any success. I thought I had found his baptism records through LDS microfilm; but that John Crompton died in England and our John Crompton died in British Columbia Canada. It would be great to get John's parents names to carry on the research. I may start a fresh new search in the new year. Have a Merry Christmas & my best wishes for 2013.
