I am interested in Harriet Crompton who married John Clough at the Bolton parish church in 1795. She died I think giving childbirth because she died in 1820 and her son John was born in 1820. None of the relatives have come across her,but I think I found her in a Unitarian church message of some kind. Would be interested if anyone can help me out. Hi Derek; Yes, I am still interested in the Crompton family history. I have hit a brick wall on our Crompton family; so have not done too much research this year. I have spent a lot of money trying to get a birth certificate for John Crompton b.d. April 5, 1870 in Edgeworth Near Bolton, Lancashire, England - but have not had any success. I thought I had found his baptism records through LDS microfilm; but that John Crompton died in England and our John Crompton died in British Columbia Canada.
