    2. I am interested in Harriet Crompton who married John Clough at the Bolton parish church in 1795. She died I think giving childbirth because she died in 1820 and her son John was born in 1820. None of the relatives have come across her,but I think I found her in a Unitarian church message of some kind. Would be interested if anyone can help me out. 3. Hi Derek; Yes, I am still interested in the Crompton family history. I have hit a brick wall on our Crompton family; so have not done too much research this year. I have spent a lot of money trying to get a birth certificate for John Crompton b.d. April 5, 1870 in Edgeworth Near Bolton, Lancashire, England - but have not had any success. I thought I had found his baptism records through LDS microfilm; but that John Crompton died in England and our John Crompton died in British Columbia Canada. It would be great to get John's parents names to carry on the research. I may start a fresh new search in the new year. Have a Merry Christmas & my best wishes for 2013. 3. So sorry to hear of your problems with Katrina. I hope you are doing better now and that you will have a good Christmas My g-g-g-grandmother was Harriet Crompton and no one has been able to locate her. She died in about 1820. Married John Clough in 1795 and had quite a few children. John remarried in 1820 or 1821 My maiden name was Collinge and I supposedly had a rich or prosperous Gemtleman James" I know the Lees were involved in a James Collinge Manufacturing Co. Don't know if this means anything, just checking Donna Collinge Martens DJMFLAG@aol.com P.S. my folks were average, not educated, though smart and I think "Gentleman James" helped them out with a few bucks. Brick walls become harder and harder to climb over, so I've stopped in front of the last one. I'll get back into the search in earnest after the festive break is over. I am also hoping to get more info out of the family I'll be visiting in the UK in May 2013. Have a safe and happy festive season, and may 2013 bring all you hope for. 3. Yes No one has ever found Harriet Crompton Clough who married John Clough in 1795. I believe she died in 1820 during child birth. I believe it was her son John as he was born in 1820. Donna Merry Xmas to you, though with my children all away it's not much of a Xmas. My one daughter drives 45 miles to get me and take me home on holidays, but you know we have snow here and it's not gaurenteed. Would like to come back to England as I have more information now and know where to look. Also my grandson and his wife are expecting and they live north of London.
