I am involved in a large study of the CROKER family that came to Ireland circa 1600 and have a lot of information to share. My own family interest is through my mother's mother Mary Ellen CROKER. Her grandfather William Sawan CROKER came to Australia in 1840 settling in Newcastle NSW. His father Thomas Swan CROKER was a clerk at the Customs House in Dublin from 1794 until his death on 26 January 1837.
