Crofoot born April 1825 was the son of Joseph Crofoot and Mary Chapman. My family descends from Joseph's older brother Luther. I have more Crofoot ancestors, if you wish to contact me. I believe that Mary Chapman was the daughter of Asa Chapman and Mary Williams. 1850 US Census (Hannibal, Oswego Co., NY) has Benjamin and Caroline living next door to older Jos. and Louise Kimball who look suspiciously like her parents.
