Hi Patti, No I'm not in Medina Co. I'm in Lancaster...which is in Fairfield Co, to the south of you & buried in snow! LOL I love that part of the state! Went through there this summer from Lake Erie to Amish country. Do you know or have ran across where Joseph Crowfoot came from??? I have been trying to search this family for some time & finally made a break through last Aug. This is my mother-in-law's maiden name & she seems not willing at all to give any information out (been trying for 26 yrs!!!!!). I turned to the internet.......& have dug up some information. I've found some info from the census records at our library. My husband's grandfather went to TX in the early 1940's.........& remarried. Not too sure if he had any other children. Where are your ancestors from? I live in Ashland Co. and my library has some Medina Co. resources. My ancestors were Crofutt and unfortunately didn't live in Ohio, but we all descend from Joseph Crowfoot of Springfield MA. > Patti (In snowy Ohio, also) > dhayes <dhayes@greenapple.com> wrote:Hello..............I'm looking for anyone that may have ran across a Charles Crofoot in their research. > > This man was born in 1824.in NY..........both of his parents were born in CT. > > Married Mary Ann ? born in 1826 in PA......both of her parents were from PA. > > This family was living in the Medina OH area in the 1880's. > > Looking for the names of Charles' parents. > > This is one of the names in my husband's family that I'm trying to research. > > Can anyone tell me what nationality is the Crofoot name?
