I'm working on Conah Crofoot whose daughter Mary shows up in Branch, Hillsdale and Barry Counties (MI). I've been collecting info on Crofoots in Calhoun/Barry area in hopes I can find a connection. Here's the basics: Orin A. Crofoot b. 10 Oct 1892 in Hillsdale Co., son of Willard A. and Ella (Tucker) Crofoot. m. (1) Golda (Moore) Ellerton who died in 1947. Children: Jack, Jacqueline. m. (2) Ruth M. Makyes on 18 Jun 1948. Orin died 23 Jun 1966 in Battle Creek, MI Surviving: brother Jesse Crofoot of Bellevue, two half-brothers: Everett Crofoot of Newyago and Arthur Crofoot of Muskegon; two half sisters: Fern, Neva.
