Derringer Married Lena Crofutt and together they had a daughter named Maranda Rheulma Edith Crofutt Derringer. I have Maranda born in either 1835 or 1890. She was 15 years old at the time when sitting bull was shot, and he was shot in 1890. Crofutt is in my family line. Trying to find out some information on them.

As my cousin Eric mentioned I have been trying to research the Crofoot family tree and got stuck at our 3 great grandfather Titus having no dates either death or birth on him. I was able to find Polly's birth date of Nov.3,1792 not sure of place and she died in Holland,MI on March 17,1867. Would love to hear from anyone with info on this branch of the tree or anyone else interested in the Crofoot/ Crowfoot/ Crofutt maybe we can help each other.
