Does anyone have any info on the lineage of Sophia Knapp Crofoot,(1758 VT-1846 OH) wife of Malcolm/Marcum Crofoot? I am trying to research their son Gideon's wife Samantha Sackett born 1795/6 Saratoga NY who I think may have been related to Semantha Knapp Sackett wife of Hon. Jehial Sackett #730 Weygant's book. I am looking for a Samuel Crofut (Crofoot) married to a Lucy Jane.... possibly surname of Delivan. I have no dates that are specific but I am looking at a Mabel Crofut b. abt. 1800 - 1806 who married a Munson or Monson Keeler on March 20, 1825. She died June of 1832 Bethel, CT. Mabel is the daughter of Samuel Crofut. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks Carley

I could not draw a connection as of yet but do have some info on your line and did find photos of Mary Rhodes Crofoot White in a book on history of Kalamazoo Co, MI.And George/Mary had 3 children.1.Myrtle b.12 May1875 d.7 Sept 1897 m Jay Utter no date and had one daughter Lany. 2. John Earl b.1 May 1878 d.3 April 1944 3. Samuel Crofoot b.24 June 1883. There's also a picture of John E in the same book. Would like to help you connect to this branch of your family if you want we can share info. I know how you feel this has been the best site I've tried in getting positive results!
