Having returned from reading Lokve (Gorski Kotar region) christening records and pushing back another generation (we think), we have another new given name to deal with. It looks like "Goames", but might be "Joames" (in one record it looks more like "Goanly"). I'm guessing this is the latin version perhaps "John". Am I right? What would be the probable spelling of his brothers: Bartholome?um Nicolaum Anastasi Andream I'm pretty confident they translate to: Bartholomew Nicolaus/Nikola ?
