The current online phone book lists an address for this church, so it is still operating. I don't believe that I ever said that the LDS had microfilmed records. And the statement that "church inventory" was destroyed does not tell us exactly what that was. If someone had been in touch with someone from that area recently who said they saw the surname on church records then one may suspect that those records may exist at the church today. And if not then the National Archives should have those records. One should check with the church and then the archives normal times or not.
