Pre-WW I passports were written in Hungarian and French and were 4-5 pages long. I suppose the Yugoslavs (Croatians et al) continued this practice (1938) , but substituted their Slavic language for the Magyar one and added pages. zanimanje (C) occupation, profession profession (F) stolar (C) carpenter menuisier (F) The Passport included a description of the person traveling. kosa hair oci eyes usta mouth nos nose brkovi moustache brada beard etc Cunard White Star Limited was name of the ship company. In 1938 Cunard; U.S., White Star; Anchor All passports had paid tax stamps on them. Possibly stamped with rubber stamped seal of government office issuing the passport. Has the GP's passport been translated for you or not ? I can't tell from the messages posted at ML. If not,it would be easier if you sent me the all the pages at one time.
