Amy, My grandfather and his brothers were in Illinois and Iowa. Gram came two years after Grampa and went to Iowa and ran a boarding house while he worked in the mines. They bought cut over boreal forest in northern Wisconsin in 1916 and slowly turned it into a farm. The family has since then been mostly in WI with cousins mostly in IL.
