Don, My family came to the US in the about 1902 . They settled in St. Louis Mo. There seemed to be a very large Croatian community there. There whole street in 1910 was Croatians Many of them were laborer , My grandfather a brick layer. They also worked for the meat packing Co. They established the a Croatian Gymnastic facility and there are at least 2 Croatian churches in the area. Hope this is what your looking for . Michelle
