Robert, I found Paraska Fonda on the ship manifest and it does seem like an odd first name. The date and the age are so close too but I noticed that her husband's name was Josef. My grandfather's name was Emil, a name that doesn't seem to be very common there. But I do have yet another last name to research! Mary H.
