Dear list, It was with great pleasure that I noticed how number of e-mails increased over recent weeks. Therefore I would like to suggest that we always include names of the families' we research in the e-mail subject field. BTW, I research Mazuranic, Mazuranic-Jankovic and related families. Kind regards to all Ivan
>Listmembers, I like Ivan's suggestion about including names, but would you please include one or two words about where they are from? A KOVAC or blacksmith from Zagreb is unlikely to be the same family as a KOVAC or blacksmith from Sarajevo. Provided our listowner approves, this would be a great way to find others dooing some of the same names. I'm always looking for new connections for my cousins' family in the Virovitica area over near the Hungarian border. Some of the names there are SAFER, SCHAEFFER, SCHAFER, FIERST, FIRSCH, BAKIC, FACULJAK, HENK, HANDKE, WIRTZ, VUKOVIC, HARTUNG, PREBIG, PREBEG, MYOLA. A few of the little villages in that area are Cabuna, Dugo Selo, Novaki. My own research is on the GRUBISIC and PETROVIC family from the Mrkopalj valley, near Riejeka, and associated names which include TOMIC, BLAZEVIC, KRUZIC, KUCHAN, KAUZLARIC, and CRNIC or CERNIC. Please, do contact me if you know these names, Ashley >Dear list, > >It was with great pleasure that I noticed how number of e-mails >increased over recent weeks. > >Therefore I would like to suggest that we always include names of the >families' we research in the e-mail subject field. > >BTW, I research Mazuranic, Mazuranic-Jankovic and related families. > >Kind regards to all > >Ivan --
I used to write to a relative that lived on Ivan Mazuranic street in Samobor. Any connection?
