    3. Margaret, The plum dumplings sound wonderful. Could you please share the recipe? When I was young my best friend`s mother used to make dumplings that were boiled with peaches in a sweet peach syrup. They were so good. Carol PS My mother was German/Irish and we also had rice sweetened with sugar, cinnamon, raisins and a little bit of milk.
