Hi Lori, Wouldn't be able to give you an exact figure but based upon what I saw some years back, I'd expect Stefanci to be around the 1,500 mark >From: "Lori" <lori-n@juno.com> >Reply-To: croatia@rootsweb.com >To: croatia-l@rootsweb.com >Subject: [CROATIA] Population of Steffanci & Radocaj >Date: Mon, 29 Jan 2007 02:06:43 GMT > >Hi everyone, it's been a while since I've been able to work at this. Lori, According to the 2001 census Stefanci pop 4 and Radocaj pop 0 in the Vrbovsko municipality had very little population. This certainly could not be the one mentioned by John,as Vrbovsko municipality only has a pop of around 6,000. The villages that I am speaking of lie near the Kupa River, near the Slovenian border in Gorski Kotar region. Are these the correct places or is there another area where you are searching? http://www.dzs.hr/Eng/censuses/Census2001/Popis/E01_01_01/e01_01_01_zup08-5096.html The places I found are adjacent villages and while they can not be seen on the MapQuest map the would be near Blazevici on the road going toward Dol. http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?latlongtype=decimal&latitude=45.3664&longitude=15.0889&size=big But I just found a map where you can see both places, go to the link... on the left side of the page, click on the middle pane and that section will come into view on the right http://www.gorskikotar.hr/karta01.htm Robert John Stefanac <jmstefanac@hotmail.com> wrote: Hi Lori, Wouldn't be able to give you an exact figure but based upon what I saw some years back, I'd expect Stefanci to be around the 1,500 mark >From: "Lori" >Reply-To: croatia@rootsweb.com >To: croatia-l@rootsweb.com >Subject: [CROATIA] Population of Steffanci & Radocaj >Date: Mon, 29 Jan 2007 02:06:43 GMT > >Hi everyone, it's been a while since I've been able to work at this.
