Kevin, I have been a subscriber for years. The service is spotty. I do think and have been serviced better by Genealogy.Com. In any event, here is my two bits worth. Ancestry owns Rootsweb which is excellent for what it does. Actually, there is no one else quite as complete as Rootsweb, again for what they do which is extensive. The Ancestry effort on census digitization has been so-so with hard to use indexes. I actually got more value from them before their great drive for digitizing census data. One area that I have been consistently disappointed with is the Ancestry CD's. I find them difficult, lacking in quality and data depth and a true waste of money. Their My Family site has worked well for me as a family web site although it just went form being free to $15-20 per year. I actually belong to a number of discrete sites hosted by My Family that are affiliated with joint-family web sites. I belong to several because, despite some overlap, each has some unique features that I use. Dick Puz
