I received a marriage record for my gggrandparents and they were married in Faro, Portugal. On it the groom, my gggrandfather, is a widower of Antonia BIXAXE, deceased of Trieste. It also says my gggrandfather is from Cherso (which is now Cres) State of the German Empire(interesting). The priest apparently spelled Bixaxe as it sounded. Any thoughts as to what her last name might have been? Bacic? Bacich? I am also posting this to the Portugal site to see what input they might have. Thank you. Ellie
