Pete, Darrell, Pat etal. Unfortunately, I just can't totally buy into this. 17 yrs. difference between the children is not unheard of when you see all the kids in between. Mary is mentioned in her father's will (William) & if you consider the children of Mary you see the names of her siblings from Wm. & Hannah repeated in the naming of her own children but not so if you feel her father was Hardy. I sort of agree with the Bell Book in that there were two different Mary's and that Mary, dau. of Hardy was a Mary of a different time & place. Somehow researchers have both Mary women as having md. the same man but having had different children. What a mess! The line gets fractured right here without a common consent.
