    3. Dave, Thanks for your comments. I have been looking at the documentation I have from Elgin Barnes. They are hand written pages. The BD he has looks like 1796 but the 6 could be a 0. I visited the Crews cemetary in November with Johnny Crews, dec from Samuel Lemrod and the grave marker does show 1790 so you could very well be correct. I would be glad to fax you a copy of these records however they are not real crisp and I don't know how well they will fax.
