Joyce, I need your help. Yes, I saw the web site but had seen the same general info. previously when this Mary Crew was being discussed. I'm sure we could find it in our archives. A researcher went into great detail. I believe her name was LaWanda. If my notes don't deceive me nor my memory, it was stated the application refered to was rejected by the Cherokee. Additionally that the Mary Crew (sister to Ann) married Hugh Meredith. The Bell Book & other sources give Mary Crew's parents as William Crew and Hannah Sanders. So we have conflicting information and I wouldn't put money on who is correct. I even wonder if there are two different Mary Crew women and the spouses have been confused. Inasmuch as you say you have the family group sheets on the Meredith line, would you please give me the names of the children of Mary . The Mary I have had 11 children, so thought if we could compare names, perhaps it would be a clue as to where I can go with this. O.K.? Thanks in advance!
