I've seen much Kentucky activity lately. Just wanted to remind those in need that KY has one of the most complete tax records for each county from about 1798. These can be ordered through LDS - gives pole tax, # of horses, # acres, what water course, original patent info, and later - # of children of school age, # of cattle, etc. The poll tax may indicate a birth year: year - 21 = approx. date of birth - or when someone entered the county, left, or died.
