This Thomas CREWS was the s/o Joseph CREWS & Massey JOHNS(T)ON. They had 10 issue. Thomas CREWS (b.1766) s/o James & Amelia CREWS md. Mary WHICKER (b.1765), d/o Benjamin WHICKER & Elizabeth. James CREWS (b. 1745), s/o Joseph CREWS & Massie JOHNS(T)ON md. Amelia. Massie\Massey CREWS, (b.ca 1768) d/o James & Amelia CREWS md. Thomas WHICKER, s/o Benjamin WHICKER & Elizabeth. Don't yo see Pat, Joseph CREWS & Massey JOHNS(T)ON had among other issue, 2 sons; James & Thomas. Each of these sons had a dau. they named Massey. Massey JOHNS(T)ON must have been quite a gal for her sons to do that but from the research I did some years ago along with others, I truly believe that is what happened.
