I have a John Wilson CREWS b. 1830 MS m. 10/30/1851 Sarah Elizabeth LEWIS Copiah Co., MS d. 12-19-1897 Claiborne Co., MS. Sarah Elizabeth LEWIS's grandparents were Joseph B. LEWIS and Sarah Elizabeth MAGEE. I am wondering if there is any connection to the MAGEE family mentioned in the 1st Digest for the CREWS mailing list. John Wilson CREWS orphaned at a young age and in the 1850 Copiah Co., MS Census a JW CREWS is listed with a BROWNING family. I am wondering if this is him and I need to find his parents.
