I show no parents for this Mary "Polly" TALLEY and only the other day got her last name as TALLEY from you Bob. I think we all pretty well agree on the children of this couple. Among them was Sally CREWS who md. George JORDAN. A son of George JORDAN named Thomas md. a Sarah TALLEY. (I got that couple from you also Bob so am showing no parents for this Sarah TALLEY.) I have a Sally TALLEY who married Thomas WHICKER 27 March 1780. I show her parents as Nicholas TALLEY and Mary___. This Thomas WHICKER born 1760 was the son of Benjamin WHICKER & Elizabeth. This Thomas WHICKER had a second wife named Massey CREWS. He married her 11 Oct. 1786. This Massey was born 1768/70 and was the dau. of James and Amelia CREWS. This Thomas WHICKER had issue from both wives. Bob, do you have documentation as to the last name of Mary "Polly" TALLEY who md. Thomas CREWS born 1748/53? It is difficult to believe Nicholas TALLEY & Mary were the parents of both these TALLEY women although it is quite possible. Give me the benefit of your thinking. Hazel
