There was a John & Jane Crews in Va who had a son, Thomas b. 1755 who m. Susannah (?). Among their children were a David (with son David), a James, a Wm. a Thomas, a Joseph, a Hiram & an Enoch. No Ashley or Reubin linked to this family and I have no record of them in NC, just Va & KY & MO. But that doesn't mean they weren't there. There was an Ashley b. 1779 s/o Thomas & Mary Crews of Stokes Co, NC There were 10 children in the family but "Thomas", a brother, is the only name that matches. I don't know which Reubin this might have been. I was hoping to link all those names into one family. Oh, well. ......................................
