That's another family we need lots more info on since there were several links between all these groups. There was a Samuel MAGEE b. after 1706 m. Elizabeth ELLIOTT and had 5 children. The oldest was Sarah MAGEE b. c1730. She's too old to be your Sarah, but it shows a possible line. We have 2 other Sarah MAGEEs but they had other husbands and I didn't see dates for them. I could check further if your Sarah was m. more than once. Does the name Pleasant STANLEY or Thomas LIPSCOMB sound familiar? Those were the husbands of the other Sarahs. The BROWNING family is also linked to CREWS at least twice, in the southern branch which descends from John CREWS & Nancy COLLINS. A. W. BROWNING m. Arsula CREWS (b. 1854 d. FL) and Effie BROWNING m. Arthur CREWS (b. 1886 d. FL). This line came thru SC & GA. I have no idea if there is a connection, but you might want to keeps those names handy just in case. .............................................. If not why not try to get his death cert? You have to write to the county where he died and give you relationship, of course. Where was that? The certificate will give you his parents and where he was born. That will give you much more to go on. You asked me if I have any record of Gideon CREWS b. 1730 Hanover Co, Va having any wife other then Jamima WHICKER. The answer if "No". No record of any other wives. Now a question for you. I have their son, Wm. Littleberry CREWS with wife and desc's, but I have no desc's listed for any of his siblings. Do you have any? ............................................... Joanne B.
