Rufus Crewse b abt 1820 mar Myra Wasson (Wassum), dau of John Wasson, Rhea Co TN. Rufus moved his family to Wright Co, MO. after 1850 and settled on Beaver Creek where he operated a mill and built a large home of hand-made bricks from the red clay of the area.
