Pat, The familysearch.org shows a David Crews married to Betsey Russell, May 22, 1813 in Stokes, N.C. (I don't put a lot of faith in their records). I have a David Crews, son of Joseph Crews (born in 1841in South Carolina) and Fannie Corbitt, in my family file. I'll keep on digging. Ann
