The name "Thomas" didn't show up in the STANLEY line until the 1900s but they've been in the U.S. since at least the 1790s. Where was your Thomas Jr. born in 1689? Thanks. Susan E. One of their sons, Thomas Stanley lll, b. 1731 d. 1797; married 1755, a Sarah CREWS, b. 1728 d. 1805. I have no idea who the parents of this Sarah CREWS are. Would you believe it, I have still another CREWS mystery. Brother to Thomas Jr. above is Zechariah Stanley, b. 1737 d. 1810, marr. 1st. Susannah Mendenhall and had 3 children. 2nd. marr. Sarah Crews, b.--- d. 1795 and they had 4 children. Does any one have matching surnames of these CREWS? Delores
