Also, I want to let you know that all of my records show Ephraim's wife Rachel as having the maiden name of McHaney. I noticed a David Crews that had married an Elizabeth "Betsy" Russell. He was a descendant of John Crew(1) and Sarah Gatley ----William Crews(2)and Hannah Sanders---David Crews(3)and Sarah Gooch, and David Crews(4) wife unknown. If this could be your line, I have HOPES that mine is very similar, since I do believe those families had to have close ties, being in the same basic area, etc. ( If only they all kept their records up!!!)
