    3. Clifton, I have been researching my Cruse line who came from Virginia to TN in the early 1830's. My gggrandfather was John Marion Cruse b 5/2/1837 in Knox, Sumner or Rhea Co. TN - I have conflicting info on which Co. His mother's name was supposedly Mary A. b 1807. I have not been able to track down the father's name. Other children in the family were Delila Ann, Martha J., Nancy E., Amanda Elizabeth and Sarah. Does any of this fit into your family info? I have gotten different spellings of Cruse in the records, which may be why I haven't been able to track down the father. Thanks for checking!
