Dollye, My Cruse line came from VA to Christian County KY then on to TN. My ggggrandfather was John Marion Cruse/Crews b. 1835 in TN. I have been trying to pin down names of his parents. He had four sisters and their mother was named Mary Davis from NCor VA. I have not had any luck finding further info on their marriage. Any info you may have would be appreciated! I have a David in my line b. 1839, his father was W. W. from VA mother was Mary from N.C. He had a brother James b abt. 1838, brother Robert b abt. 1842, brother John b. abt. 1845, and sister Mary b. abt 1849. There could have been more children. These are the ones on the 1850 Weakly Count TN census. Does this match anyone else's.
