In the 1880 census for Polk, County, Florida, I find Jefferson CREWS b. ca 1845 married to Mary DUNAWAY, b. ca 1859. I am searching for information on Jefferson in hopes of locating information on the DUNAWAY family, specifically Mary's sister Florida DUNAWAY b. 1861. One informant has indicated to me that Jefferson may have been illegitimate.
