Family moved to Smith Co., TN 1809. John married Nancy Shaw prior 1817 Children:James M. b. 7/23/117, Clarinda b. 1820, Unkn Son b. 1823, Unkn Daug b. 1825 Family moved to Pike Co., MS 1820. Father Thomas and Mother Anna died (Thomas in Pike Co., and Anna in Smith Co., prior to move) Family moved to Gibson Co., TN 1828 children born in Gibson Co: William Shaw Crews (my ggrandfather b. 1833, Thomas b. 1835, Martin b. 1837. John Crews married Sarah Edmundston (2nd marriage) Children: Rebecca b. 1840, Nancy b. 1842, Elizabeth b. 1846) John and Sarah moved to Stoddard Co., MO 1858 took Martin, Nancy and Elizabeth with them.
