    3. I'm going to post some inquiries I found on GenForum. If anyone has any additional info on these Crews I'd appreciate hearing about it as would the person who inquired. If I'm duplicating material that has been posted here by a member, I hope they won't mind. Some of the notes are about people in the database, but they contain a bit more data than what we had. His parents died when he was young; prior to 1860. He was later hanged for murder in TX in 1894. He supposedly left a wife behind, but what about children? I would appreciate any info on the deaths of his parents and also his death. Posted by Michael Motes <traasch@ems.att.com> Thomas Crews, will probated Surry Co., VA, March 1697/98 (WB 5, p. 152), married Phoebe, surname unknown, and had Thomas, Elizabeth, Catherine and Phoebe, who married Augustine Hunnicutt of Surry Co., VA. Among their children was John Hunnicutt, born 15 Oct. 1716. Does anyone know the connection between Thomas Crews and Captain James Crews, hanged for his part in "Bacon's Rebellion" of 1676? Was Thomas his son? My line of descent continues through the Hunniuctt family. Much data to share, but via US mail only.
