Bring food or drinks for the table if you like, But come MY McQUEEN LINE ................. I am from Dugal McQueen,Thomas McQueen { if all of the below this is right JOHN McQUEEN and Nancy Crew is David mother and father} John , David, John France, George Monroe McQueen, Auther E. and { me } Henry McQueen. I have worked on this problem for the last 12 yrs. and have not proven that this John McQueen and Nancy Crew is David C. McQueen father and mother. Donna Hechler Porter, and Rose Mary Hill and others think David C McQueen is their son. No one has proven which John McQueen was his father. But I am stell looking. I think Donna Hechler Porter did a very good job on her book about 4 years ago of the McQueen Family and her Book on Crew Family with what she had to work with. I met her about 5 yrs.ago at the McQueen family reunion that we have every year in Jasper Texas I was in hopes Donna could help me with David but it didn't work out, { I and all of my McQueen family was born in Jasper, Texas on McQueen Street in 1930 } I still have McQueen family there. I am sure David C. McQueen is in the Dugal McQueen family but were ??? what John McQueen { there are about [5] John McQueen's in that time frame 1790's } is his Father. I do believe that a Dugal McQueen family member is David father ??? but that is all. I have Donna Hechler Porter's Book # 1, Book # 2 and notes that will be in book # 3 she sent me about 4yrs. ago but it didn't prove what John McQueen was David father. There is a Land suit filed in 1854 in Sabine Co. Texas about David's land in Jasper, Texas [THE McQUEEN HEIRS vs SAMUEL GOODE] suite file by John F. McQueen, Susan W. Burress, and Mary Jane McFarlane the Children of David C. McQueen dated 29th. of march 1854. Also there is John F. McQueen's Power of Attorney to Robert McFarland his brother-in-law dated Nov. 13th 1847 on file at the Coffee Co, Tenn. Register's Office in Manchester, Tenn. Also July 1, 1819 I Find him in Northeast Ala. on the North of the Tenn. River in Cherokee Nation. I have a petition by David C McQueen and others asking The Secretary of War not to remove them from the Cherokee Nation. That the Indians on the North of Tenn. are not desirous of having us white settlers driven off thier Cherokee Nation's land and those of us being few in number and are good neighbours to the Cherokee Indian.
