Dollye, It is definitely a possibility that Martin and Mary Ann Crews were the same as the couple in Rhea Co, TN, and Martin could have returned to KY before Mary Ann. It is so difficult in that time period...so little info in census. It is an assumption that Nancy is the mother or perhaps stepmother of Martin, Rufus and others since she is the right age and the only in Rhea Co, TN in census. I will do some looking in KY also. It just amazes me the way they "jet set" about on their horses and in their wagons. They sure put me to shame. Traveling to TN last week in a comfortable van was an effort for me. Staying in those comfortable motels with air conditioning and hot and cold running water. I should be ashamed of myself for being tired. I am definitely TOO soft. ha. Thanks for your reply, Carol
