Anyone working on the Peter Crews line? Peter b. 1787 Westmoreland Co, VA d. 1865 Heard Co., GA. wife was Mary_? b. 1796 d. 1856 Heard Co. Who was Mary? I have read several items that say she was Mary "Polly" Monroe, niece of Pres. Monroe, but have found no proof. Who were Peters parents? I could not find any Crews living in Westmoreland Co in 1787 tax list. Their son Henry Johnson Crews was b. 1814 and d. 1892 in Heard Co. What was his wifes maiden name? I only know she was Centhia and she d. bef 1870 in Heard Co. He remarried a Sarah Golden Cato. Any help on this? Thanks, Jan Elliott
