Sarah Jennings was s/o George (no wife shown ), s/o Cornelius who was an immigrant from England. Lots of references. More children, or different ch. Says Frances Dabney m. John Maupin; Mary m. Christopher Harris; Eliz. m. Daniel Maupin - all ch/o Cornelius. Do you want any of this? Do you have the Terrell data entered? It looks like her parents were Nicholas Hunter MERIWETHER and Rebecca TERRELL, d/o Richmond TERRELL. We have a Richmond TERRELL (Joel, Joel, Wm. & Susannah) but he has no dau. named Rebecca. This must be another Richmond. This one m. Nancy OVERTON. Oh, how weird! A dau of Rebecca TERRELL and Nicholas Hunter MERIWETHER, Nancy Terrell MERIWETHER, m. Nicholas Hunter LEWIS! In the DB is a Benjamin BATES 17082 m. to Hannah ___? Do you think he is the same Benj. as on pg. 2 of the Desc. Chart, married to Hannah GREEN? Part 1 wouldn't come through. I'm trying to work out a desc chart with the wills that came through. These people had NO imagination! Every family has the same names for their kids! I see that a John CREW was mentioned in the will of Thomas PLEASANTS in 1744 written 19 Nov 1743. And he is called "Nephew". We have a John S. CREWS b. bet 1680/1740 (when?) of Lunenberg Co. Va, (brother of Richard CREWS) who m. a Sarah PLEASANTS. We don't have her lineage, but there are plenty of Sarah PLEASANTS to go around in this family! She was supposed to be dau of a leader of the Quaker Church, but I haven't noticed that Richard & John CREW were members of the church. Someone thought that this John CREW married Sarah MONROE which makes me think these are two John CREWS who each m. a Sarah. The John who m. Sarah PLEASANTS prob. was a Quaker and the John who m. Sarah MONROE prob. wasn't. I'll keep working on abstracting these wills and deeds, etc. Pat
