I have recently joined the Crews mailing list and am posting my line to see if anyone has researched this line and might have information beyond what I have. My grandmother was Julia Elizabeth CRUSE FOWLER, b. 11-20-1900 in Arkansas. Her father was Thomas Vestal CRUSE, b.12-29-1875, Gwinnett Co., Georgia, d.1-11-1955,Craighead Co., Arkansas. He married Julia Elizabeth HAY, b.12-4-1877, Arkansas, d. 11-20-1900, Craighead County, Arkansas. His father was Joseph P. ("Pink") CRUSE, b. 7-26-1852, Georgia, d.2-1-1907, Craighead Co., Arkansas. He married Mary Ann CRAFT, b. 10-19-1853, Georgia, d. 6-22-1902, Craighead Co., Arkansas. I have a lot more descendant information, but I haven't gone any further back on CRUSE ancestors than Joseph. The HAY line is from Georgia also. Any new information would be appreciated.
