Hi everyone, I have a question that comes from one of my sisters-in-law family. Her brother has traced one of their lines back to a W. Berry (Benjamin) Cruce. He was born in March 1815 in Georgia and married Sept. 7, 1845 in Lumpkin Co., Georgia to Jane P. Hicks (Aug 12, 1828 in GA - June 21, 1900 in Jackson Co., GA). They had the following children (all born in Georgia): Will T. Cruce (1846-1924), John M. Cruce (1853-1924), Meany Cruce (1855-?), Delila Cruce (1857-?), Benjamin Cruce (1858-?), and Amanda Cruce (1859-?). Their line of descent runs through John who was married on May 16, 1869 to Polly (Mary) Batchelor (1845-1931). Will also married a Batchelor. Does anyone have any information on this family?
