Hi All, I recently received this information from a descendant of Isham Crews and Mary Johnston. Can any of you shed light on Archibald Crew of NC and his relationship to this Georgia line? "I am trying to find an earlier Archibald Crew born ca 1771 in NC. He was listed on the Mortality list 1850 Wayne Co., Ga Census. He died at the age of 79 in March of 1850. He was living in the household of Mary Crews, widow of Isham. (It is possible that Isham was serving in the military but I have not found him since the 1840 Census and I have presumed that he died.) I believe that this Archibald is possibly Ishams father and that Archibald is the son of John Crews."
