    3. These are excerpts from two old newspapers on microfilm at UF in Gainesville, FL. This one is for the Waldron family which intermarried with the Crewses a couple of times in FL. >From the "S.C. and American General Gazette" April 15, 1769- (Two stray horses with descriptions)"Ten Pounds reward will be paid for the delivery of the said strays to me in Charlestown, or to Mr. Patrick Waldron at Monck's Corner. signed John Wood" - ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >From "Georgia Times, and State Right's Advocate" Milledgeville, GA August 28, 1833, advertisement- "Reuben J. Crews will attend the Supreme Courts of the counties of Muscogee Sumpter Harris Stuart Marion Meriwether Randolph Talbot Troup Lee Upson Heard Ellerslie, Harris County, June 19." Reuben Jordan Crews was a lawyer, the son of Martin Crews. Ellerslie is about 15 miles NE of Columbus, GA. This ad was running in many issues of the paper. David
