The IGI has a Patron Submission [including death statistics], stating this same lass was born 29 May, 1866, but this is appears to not be correct. Conflicting data gotten from Civil Registration records [also on the IGI] says her birthday is a year later, 14 May, 1867. She also chopped 2 years off her age at the Registrar's Office in Toronto, she was really 29 ! I guess she didn't want to report that she was older than her husband ? Her birthplace was East Kilbride, Lanarkshire, Scotland, mother's maiden name was ARROL. - MegG
